Palava Chicken and Peppers Serves 2-4 people
Ingredients:
1/2 medium Red Bell Pepper julienne 1/2 medium Green Bell Pepper julienne 1/2 medium Yellow Bell Pepper julienne 1 tbsp Vegetable oil 1 lb Chicken breast cut into 1" strips 1 cup of Kilimanjaro Palava Sauce
Directions:
Saute peppers and chicken in oil for 2-3 minutes and add Palava Sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes or until chicken is done. Serve with rice or over pasta.
Palava Spinach
Ingredients:
1 lb chopped spinach (fresh or frozen) 1 tsp vegetable oil 1 cup of Palava sauce
Directions:
Saute spinach in oil until wilted. Add Palava sauce and bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
Green Beans with Palava Sauce
Ingredients: 1 lb Green Beans 3 cups Water 1 cup Palava Sauce
Directions:
Cook green beans in water until they are half way cooked and drain about half the water off. Add Palava sauce and finish cooking to desired tenderness.
New Year's Day Blackeyed Peas and Palava Sauce
Ingredients:
1 1/3 cup long grain rice 2 cups water 1 cup Palava Sauce 1 15 oz can of Blackeyed peas
Directions:
Combine rice, water and Palava sauce into a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 12 minutes. Add blackeyes peas and simmer for 3 minutes or until rice is tender.
Palava Spinach Artichoke Dip
Ingredients:
2 oz cream cheese 2 oz mayonnaise 2 oz yogurt 2 oz Palava Sauce 1/2 cup frozen, chopped spinach thawed and drained well 3 to 4 artichoke hearts (marinated) chopped
Mix all ingredients together and serve either hot or cold. It is perfect with pita chips, tortilla chips, crackers, or bagel chips. Enjoy!
